After a recent approval by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, we are now allowed to re-certify and renew medical marijuana cards by video. This will help prevent the spread of coronavirus by allowing patients to stay at home. It will also keep our doctors safer from being infected themselves.

New patients are still required to see the doctor personally. Renewing patients can be from anywhere in Pennsylvania, including those certified initially by other clinics/doctors.

Allow us a few days to get our systems set up and workflows in place to accept video calls. We will most likely be using Skype to video call, so download their app on your phone or on your computer. We will also require patients to complete paperwork before their appointments and have it emailed to us. Hopefully, patients will be able to print out and scan the paperwork or take pictures on their phones and send it to us.

Renewals will cost $100 and patients will need to renew their registration on the Department of Health’s Medical Marijuana website before the appointent so our doctor can approve them for their new cards. This step is separate from the $50 payment that is made each year on their webpage. To renew your registration, you go to your Profile Settings and click “Renew Your Registration” at the bottom of the page. You can do this from your phone.
