PTSD Psychiatrist Joining NWM

Welcoming Doctor Marc Turgeon, DO

We are happy to announce that psychiatrist doctor Marc Turgeon, DO is joining Nature’s Way Medicine for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) patient consultations!

He will be available once per month for PTSD patients strictly. This will probably be on a Saturday and his start date is yet to be finalized. We expect that in one month time he will be able to assess his first patients at our medical marijuana clinic in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Need for a Medical Marijuana Psychiatrist

We have been waiting since last Fall for the credentialing process of Delaware medical licensure. As a psychiatrist practicing in Pennsylvania, he has been kind enough to devote himself to a pool of patients awaiting assessments for medical marijuana therapy for PTSD.

As many know, there are no psychiatrists currently taking patients who recommend patients for medical marijuana treatment. Doctor Turgeon will be the first East Coast psychiatrist specializing in this and has been a strong proponent of cannabis safety and its therapeutic uses for psychiatric conditions.
